Winnie’s passion in hairdressing started off when she was very young where she has effortlessly build her brand for the past 3 decades and today, A Cut Above is widely considered as the market leader in the hairdressing industry. She studied hairstyling in London before being trained by Vidal Sassoon and then started her own salon in 1977. 2 years later, A Cut Above was born and today, the company manages more than 300 people in its staff force.
She is currently the Vice President of the Malaysian Hair Association and the President of Asia Hairdesigners Association and she is well recognized by the industry when she was nominated by Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2010 Malaysia.
As a hairdresser, Winnie believes in the philosophy of constant learning.
