International and Private Schools in Klang Valley
The government of Malaysia had in recent years relaxed the regulations for Malaysians to study at private and international schools. This has seen a surge in new institutions offering all types of oversea programmes for Malaysian families.
International and national curriculum
There is a difference between both international and private schools. The former usually offer international programmes and curriculums like the IGCSE while the latter generally follows the Malaysian education curriculum. Below is the list of these institutions in the Klang Valley.
Sri Sempurna International School
Located at the top of the hill in Taman Cheras, Sri Sempurna International School is a prestigious school that offers education from the primary to secondary level. Sri Kuala Lumpur
Sri Kuala Lumpur, known in short as Sri KL is perhaps one of the oldest and most established private schools in Malaysia. Although its name is Sri KL, it is not located in Kuala Lumpur per se but is actually in Subang, Selangor. Started by Tan Sri Dato’ Ir.
