Flea Markets and modern shopping

Flea markets and shopping go hand in hand. It is not anything new in urban cities like Kuala Lumpur. In fact, flea markets would have been one of the oldest form of shopping in a common marketplace for centuries now.

Why so happening?

One of the main reasons why flea markets are so popular today is probably because consumers are changing the way they shop. Among the reasons could be:

  1. Owners like to get rid of old stuff (pre-loved)
  2. Small business owners do not want to pay too much overhead
  3. Sellers have limited things to sell and do not need a large space

So, if you want to buy these things, where could you go? Here are some main places.

Amcorp Mall

This is perhaps the most popular and maybe most established. The Amcorp Mall Weekend Flea market has been around for about 20 years now so much so that it has been given the Best Flea Market in Malaysia as well as the most famous.
